So I'm sure most everyone has already heard, but we are building a house! Yeah! After finding out that we'd be here in Cache Valley for the forseeable future, and with the government throwing money around like they are we just couldn't resist.
Lots of people have asked what it will look like when its done and our best response is usually "a house...a rambler...". So I've scanned in some of our plans and to give everyone a better idea of what exactly we are building.
Here are the view from the front and back.
The floor plan for the main floor and how our house will sit on our lot.
The day before they dug our hole we had our own private ground breaking ceremony, and here is the progress they have made in the past two weeks.
It should be done the first part of October!

Congrats on your new home! Being homeowners is definitely a LOT more work than renting, but it's all so worth it. Now that I've had my own house for 6 months I won't EVER go back to renting! :)
